SWIMMING WITH SEALS

This year we are looking forward to operating from Bermagui on the beautiful Sapphire Coast, NSW.  Our 4hr Swimming with Seals Tour will take you out to Montague Island which is a wildlife lovers dream!

Montague Island sits within the Batemans Marine Park and is home to both an Australian Fur Seal and a New Zealand Fur Seal colony, fairy penguins, and thousands of migratory seabirds. It is also a breeding site for the endangered Grey Nurse Shark.  We also regularly sight Bottlenose and Common Dolphins, seabirds and other wildlife.

For the avid photographer, the coastline surrounding Bermagui is inspiring, with iconic places like Horsehead Rock and Camel Rock just waiting for you to come and photograph.

Once the tour is finished, head into Bermagui and wander around this friendly, trendy seaside village. There are plenty of great shops, cafes and the fabulous Blue Pool!

EXPERIENCED IN-WATER GUIDES

Our experienced guides will join you in the water to introduce you to playful seals and help you to explore this amazing underwater world.

We are committed to ethical interactions with these playful seals so numbers are very limited. In-water groups are small and personalised care is guaranteed. Your safety and the preservation of the marine environment are our main priorities.

Our ethos is that we are there to observe - to immerse ourselves in this incredible marine ecosystem. We do not encourage nor permit touching the seals or other marine life and all care must be taken not to damage the reef system or over stimulate it’s inhabitants in our interactions.
